Daniel San, I.E. Analr27.Hey….who’s Daniel you cuck?!
I’m thinking New England will be wet and mild through Christmas, then it will be miserably cold until about Valentine’s Day, that’s when we normally get shit on for snow. With the recent volcanic eruptions you think next winter will be bad? That’s usually how it goes….
It's interesting to me that people assume no one lives like that any longer. There is a whole other side to this country that is invisible to most people. That hot water.....that's everything. Getting a hot bath after a week, that's luxury. People take it all for granted. They have it to good. I don't think they realize that a cup of coffee and a hot bath is a major morale booster. A cig, coffee, some dry socks. Staff of life.I have probably mentioned it before but I never had running water until I was 13. We had an outhouse. And where we lived on a mountainside it was tricky to get to at times. We had electric but heated with wood. No well so we carried water from town. Heated our bath water. And we shared it as well. Just how it was. Yellow pages in the middle of the sears catalog made the best shit paper. I mention that to people nowadays and they assume I’m lying….
I think he’s being a bitch honestly. feel free to argue points, but if someone points out inconsistencies don’t just wave them away as “details,” or say “move on, not your fight” as if you’re the white night for the oppressed LGBT youth of America.User name checks out.
In Australia we don't have hot running water anymore. All our domestic water heaters are limited to 50 degrees C these days so kids don't get burnt apparently - despite people of my generation surviving just fine with proper hot water taps. These days I have to boil a kettle for my washing up water to get it hot enough and ditto for a shave... F'k I hate this PC purgatory we live in these days. Don't get me started on Bicycle helmets which are also compulsary here despite people of my generation riding to school at like the age of 6 with no helmet. I'm alive and perfectly fine of course. Bloody nanny state. It's interesting to me that people assume no one lives like that any longer. There is a whole other side to this country that is invisible to most people. In restaurants they are allowed to make it 60c. I asked why are they allowed to have it hotter and they told me Hygiene reasons. I replied "so what when we wash up at home we shouldn't be hygienic". Honestly the world is full of morons. Most states here have regulations for hot water temps in commercial applications, like public spaces or rental properties. Most commonly it's 120F which I think is around 50c, however in your own home you can make it as hot as you want.

Yes it is about covering arses but when you put 50 degree water into a cold stainless steel or porcelain sink it ends up at about 40c - which isn't hot enough and tepid. Hot water strips grease etc off the things you are washing and for shaving tepid water sucks,Some kitchens here will have separate mixing valves for slightly hotter water to dish sinks and the like, but most dish machines have booster pumps that heat up the water further anyways. It’s all about covering asses so no one gets burned.
Instant burns can happen at 140F
My state of Massachusetts are sticklers for code. 10 minutes either way I can be in New York or Connecticut where up to 140f is allowed. We have a max of 130 in sinks but a max of 112 in showers, so basically everything ends up being 112fYes it is about covering arses but when you put 50 degree water into a cold stainless steel or porcelain sink it ends up at about 40c - which isn't hot enough and tepid.
