In general I have to agree with you. I've known some cool guys with Fractals. But damnit... just try going to most gear sites and telling the Axe people that you prefer your Eleven Rack over the axe (for ANY reason whatsoever)!!!

I think the guys will get his ad shut down before it sells. He is making claims that he cannot substantiate regarding being a distributor. I hate to see any kind of gouging like that from assholes like them. But, if someone pays up, then that's even worse.

Ah he strikes again. Yeah, Cliff has no problem with him as long as he doesn't represent himself as Fractal affiliate. As long as he states that he is not affiliated with Fractal Audio, Cliff says its just a part of a free market and he's cool with it.

I however wouldn't mind roughing him up for a decieving looking auction layout/user name

I'm actually ALL about free-markets. The guy should be able to sell it for whatever he can get out of it. But I like freedom period... so that means I'm free to call him a douche-nozzle for choosing to gouge so bad. I mean his price is nearly DOUBLE the normal price. He's just hoping some impatient person who likes to throw money away will come along. They deserve each other...

There are LOTS of people who wouldn't bat an eye at paying 4k vs 2.6k for something they want now. I'm not one of them, but there are a ton of folks out there that spend more than that on dinner and drinks.....regularly
