I don't think Cliff can stop the auction. The person is selling their item and if someone is willing to pay $4K I'll be surprised...been wrong many times tough.
They probably can get the distributor info removed if it's incorrect.

Dont know who this guy is. Looks like he just buys them and resells them. He is in no way affiliated with Fractal Audio and Tone Merchants is the ONLY authorized dealer in the USA and serves as Fractals West Coast showroom and customer support center.

I can see your concern. The guy is in California and charges sales tax at the same rate as LA county. My first thought when I saw that was TM, but I wasn't going to say squat. I wonder why if the guy is just turning these from other people he gets them from online, why he bothers to charge sales tax. It has to be frustrating to you guys.
