Axe fx II waiting list,anyone get one???

What's the deal with axe fx 2,anyone on the wait list get one yet??are they still selling on there website for the higher price??

I have ordered one from tone merchants, got in the first batch, and have paid the deposit but not heard anything since then. Any update on this? E-mailed them but haven't received a reply either

I know they can't really do anything until they get the units and it is not there fault as they count on fractal shipping em out but any a wee update would be cool

My understanding is that the first 15 from the TM wait list have been shipped out (Made it to TM and been shipped from there).

As far as Fractal Direct sales, from their forum it appears they are trying to setup a merchant account and it is taking longer then they were initially quoted.

As far as I can tell they have not sold a single unit online now for two weeks. I don't know this for 100% certain, I'm just going by the fact that the threads on the forum (by forum members, not Fractal) have stated there have been no sales for two weeks.

I'm guessing they have been building up there inventory during the wait time, but that is only a guess on my part. And whether that built up inventory (if that was what was done) would be used against fractal direct online sales, the Tone Merchant and G66 wait list, or Fractal's own wait list is anybody's guess.

All I know is post's Like Mark Day's re-amping one aren't helping my patience one bit

I bought one just to try it out over the 4th of July weekend. I didn't think I'd keep it. I didn't. lol. Made someone in Europe very happy though. He bought my Ultra from me a few months ago too.

It's a big step up from the Ultra in terms of ease of use and the ability to dial in high gain tones. My problem was that it didn't matter what the amp model was, I dialed them all to sound similar. I don't need the variety I guess. I can get a better tone out of my Nitro anyway. I thought about keeping it for effects only, but I wasn't liking it as much as my pedals that I have. So...

U would think fractal would be better at communication and letting people know what's going on!i we all have to wait no big deal but atleast update ur customers!I think they are handling this whole thing very poorly!!!

You probably weren't in the top 12 but I'm surprised you didn't get a response, Rob has been prompt with giving me an update when I asked. I'm #18 on the list and last I heard they should have another batch coming in a couple of weeks.

Same thing with the standard. I dialed in the Recto and HBE sims to sound the same. Try doing that with a real Recto and a Friedman. I guess the artificial sweetner has a sameness about it.

I could have probably gotten more for mine, but I sold it for what I paid plus shipping to Ireland. I don't begrudge anyone making a fair profit but that's kind of rediculous.

I'm on the Fractal "list" and in a fairly good spot. From what I understand, nobody from that list has been contacted other than the first 15 or so that received replies in the first few hours of the announcement about a list.

According to Fractal, they are trying to organize so they can start servicing those on the list but not sure what will happen. Like someone mentioned above, they are trying but they are having issues with the merchant account and there is no light at the end of the tunnel right now.

The frustrating thing about the list is that most of the list would probably pay the higher price, without the coupon, just to get one. The problem is that folks don't even have a chance to get one. People have their computers running scripts, etc. and when units come available, they disappear in seconds. It is pretty insane.

I just wonder how long people will go along with this before they move on to another product. My only hope is that over the past few weeks while everything was down, they built enough units to send to TM, Europe, and people on the list. If they could get things really churning, everything in the past would be quickly forgotten.

The online shop has been going too fast, so I guess maybe FAS hasn't been able to produce enough Axe FX 2s for the G66, TM, and online buyers as well as the waiting list. The online store has been down for awhile now, so maybe something will happen too. I'm getting mine from Tone Merchants though, but I have no clue how the batches work now, or when they might be getting additional shipments.
