Sounds fantastic. I have been considering a VHT power amp to use with my Axe as well. Also, I do not find it difficult to build good sounding patches. You can make things as simple or complicated as you like. In addition the editor has gotten much better and more stable and that helps a ton as well.

When I had an AxeFX, I'd spend way more time tweaking rather than playing....always thought that somewhere in the billion menus/options there was something that would improve what I was hearing or how it felt. It drove me fucking nuts. Don't miss it one bit.

this video is kinda pushing me to choose the 2/50/2 for a power amp for my axe...wondering what speakers you were running it thru and if you disabled the cab simulation...

Couple of things-

The patch is a barely tweaked SLO preset; I think I messed with the B+, the bias, and the regular amp stuff. Haven't changed it at all in a year Power amp sim is one, cab sim off.

The power amp is the 2/50/2 and the cab is the Bogner 4x12 w/V30's.

Guitar was a PRS sc245 w/Godwood bridge.
