Sounds great and was not expecting Oh Sherrie :D

We do a ton of Journey because the drummer sounds a bit like Perry and the crowds love it :)

nice man! is that your "standard" patch or a close variation that you've posted before?

In the video there are 3 patches, my main rhythm and main solo, and a spillover preset which is my main rhythm with a redundant delay block. I have a cc modifier on the delay so when I hit that IA on my Ground Control Pro it sends out midi cc10 to the AxeFx which has a modifier programmed on the delay 1 block...it increases the volume, the repeats and the delay time of that block. Works like a charm :)

Here are my latest patches and I have OUT1 setup for direct with the Cab and poweramp sims. My guitar is STUPID HOT so you may have to increase the gain on the O/D and amp sim. The title of each patch is pretty self explanatory. As always OUT 2 is for the ART SLA2/two 2x12" guitar cabs in stereo.

I have a volume controller connected to the mixer block using cc7. So if you get no sound look there first and just disable the modifier on the mixer block. Cliff would use a Vol/Pan Block instead of the mixer block so I will probably change the mixer block in all the patches to a Vol block instead. In the meantime the mixer block does the trick for the vol pedal assignment :)

As always - you da' man Mark, thanx for the patches - I'll have to check them out!

Oh man, Oh Sherry!!!! Love it! Great backups on the Whitesnake tune.

Wow, I'm impressed, that thing really sounds good!

I've thought about getting an AxeFX for a few years now, but I just don't use effects much at all, and I'd only use it for amp tones. I'm not sure it would be worth it for just that.

Mark your tones kill! But if I start talking like that when I get mine, someone punch me. I started reading these sentences and all I could picture in my mind was Joe Pesci from Leathal Weapon 3 going "okay okay okay..." :hys:

I've been talking midi since 92 when I got my Bradshaw rig...lol. Has nothing to do with the AxeFx :)

Embrace the ancient technology tweed...lol.

Sounded great, what do you think of those Randall cabs with the Celestion Custom 80's? How do they sound with your other amps?

Hey Mark,

Inearthed's got a great question there ....

What EQ'ing changes did you have to make switching between the Randall cabs and the MESA's with the SEPlus ? Any changes to the Whomp, etc; etc; ? Could just the shear volume between the studio and stage have accounted for the difference ?

Hmmmmm ?

I would only take a little bottom off with the 4x12's when using the Od100. The V30's were definitely a tad harsher though.

I had the little Randall really loud at the rehearsal...stage volume for a little while
