Positive Grid posted it on their facebook page... So I assumed....

Didn't realize the Bias folks put the vid out. I have to believe if that's the case they would have to at least get as good a sound as possible out of the competition. The interwebz outcrying would be too loud stating they purposely programmed shit sounds to make their modestly priced offering look "too good"

Where does it say that, Jer? I didn't know Positive Grid put this video out.....I thought it was some random guys that did it. I wouldn't have posted it if I'd known it was one of the companies being demo'd that did the vid.

WHY DID I WATCH THIS?!? I thought I was almost, and I mean almost, over my "Kemper:Must Have One Now" problem. Dammit.

Thanks for your time and work.

Just listened again... the delay is way more present on the last one (as well as it being louder). Not a fair comparison. Although for the money you can't beat the Positive Grid products, I've got Jamup Pro, Bias, and several addons. I also have an Ultra that I now only use for effects for my BE100. Jam-up is just so much more convenient, especially when using backing tracks/recording/learning new songs... plug n play!

BUT … we still don't know that the 3rd one is Bias, correct?

Delay, volume, bass, etc...

Having played two out of the three (havent tried bias), I know the Axe and Kemper can sound much better than what's represented in that video.

Bias, Kemper then Axe. The second one seemed like it had more present effects. Dunno listening on crappy ear buds at work. Have not tried a Kemper or Axe. Have the Bias plugin and it's cool but I don't think I will ever trade the warmth of glowing tubes. I live in the North East and it's cold. HAHA

I don't really know, but my preference went 3, 2, 1. The first one sounded very thin on both dirty and clean.

Yes, the first one sounded like crap, the other 2 were good.

Dude is saying in the thread on SSO that he'll tell after 5000 vid views lol.

9,5k views and no reveal eh :gethim: ?!

:D

Will be interesting to see the result for sure!

The results are in. Axe, Kemper, Bias. I have to say that Part II (results) is the most BIASed (ironic) review/shootout I've ever seen. Embarrassingly so. I've only played the Kemper so I can't speak for the other units but yeah this whole thing was setup by positive grid. Gross.

Yeah, that was weak.....seemed more aimed at getting people to buy the PG products than anything else. My bad....I thought it was an impartial review. Lame.

On the other hand.... for the dough the Positive Grid stuff has a place in my equip rack....
