Yeah, the cookies sharing/tracking thing is out of hand, and they target ads based on your surfing. I had to click some options i Amazon, Firefox and some other stuff to get that toned down.

I don't have a google or gmail account. I clear my cookies, and all that other good "do not track" options are checked, etc.

Definitely. There are better alternatives to gmail anyway. I was under the impression you were deleting your cookies and the targeted ads were still popping up.
