I just started getting into Baroness earlier this year and bought the first Ghost CD late last year. Both seem to get good live reviews.

I was there for that too. Great set.

I might be able to make it to the Cleveland date, and I might not. I want to go, but Thursday is our practice night, and we got some shows coming up. I guess we'll see.

Ghost is shit though, imo

I liked Ghost's first album well enough once you get the cheese ball lyrics out of there. I mainly want to see their stage show.

Baroness is playing in a bar by themselves in Columbus on 8/5. That show was my first choice but I can't make the two hour trip on that day.

The show in Chicago is at the "Double Door" its the Official Lollapalooza After Show with Ghost B.C.Skeletonwitch but it sold out.

Well the show was pretty good. Ghost was what I expected. Sounded like the album with a touch more gain on the guitars.

Baroness rocked it out old school style. Pete had a Budda full stack cranked onstage and John had two Budda combo's cranked. I had almost forgotten how awesome stage volume can sound. They both acted as their own techs set up, tear down, and tuning between songs.

I thought they used blackout effectors fuzz pedals maybe the musket.

Might be somewhat related to that they came out of Ohio, but regardless, awesome band. I was a little surprised to hear they were on this ticket actually.

They are a cool bunch of dudes and a great band. I've seen them probably 10+ times. They bring it live!
