Got me an amp to get to know and finds its sweet spots so i'll be busy after work this week.

Glad everything worked out, but still doesn't seem right to me that you were left to hope for an amp to arrive when purchased from a dealer. From what you wrote, you basically gave up on the $4K that you had spent... Hopefully, I've missed something here...

The greatest part of the story is the Cameron box. No one seems to dispute that the BE-100 should have shipped in a different box that features much better construction.

But aren't the Cameron boxes made to, you know: ship Cameron amps? What a kick in the nuts it'd be to get the shipping notification that your long lost CCV has shipped only for it to arrive broken. I'd lose my fucking mind.

i hadn't plug it in lol
nah it had a relay come away from the board and was hidind in amongst the wires its pins had crooked from being free to bounce around plus a few other things needed a v1 tube swap and a power tube

Its a good thing that Dave Friedman actually wanders the board here....first time I have EVER read that he didnt take care of somebody right from jump that had a true issue...as it turns out it wasnt Dave....however if I am reading it correctly....Brad, if you were the original dealer, you kinda dropped the ball here....but alls well that ends well I guess!! Buyer is happy and thats all that truly matters.

I am so glad I dont have to buy stuff from overseas very often, as everything I ever shipped with USPS has had a max insurance of 750 bucks and couldnt be tracked once it left USPS hands and was dropped to the local countries mail delivery....hence why UPS and FedEx are so much more expensive on international shipping...they guarantee delivery same as in the states and you can insure for full amount and actually track the thing...
