I run a Blues OD on the clean channel and get exactly what you're looking for.Adambomb":1mzatoh5 said:Hey Dave,
For those who have the older BE100, is there anything you could suggest to achieve the lower gain tone to have that classic ACDC butt-rock tone punchy & authoritative, less compressed clear grainy gain, that from what you have communicated the new Gain Structure switch does. Any suggestions on this without modding or adding the gain structure switch?
Of course it does a decent job when turning down the gain to around noon, but I've discovered ever BE I've played don't really sound as good with the gain knob at lower settings for classic rock & blues, unless you roll back the guitar volume.
