Should be here in a couple of days. Will run it through a Small Block loaded Splawn 4x12 to start ...

3rd Power Dream Weaver and BE100. DONE. Everything else is for sale now, LOL.

I know you saw my thread on TGP.
I broke down and ordered one.
Just need to figure out the cab situation.
I have a Mesa Rectifier 2x12 and Mojave 2x12 with Heritage G12h30 55hz and Creamback.
Wondering if I should stick with those, or follow Rob from TM's advice and dump those for a 4x12.
I'm thinking I'm just going to go for the Friedman cab as well.

Anyway, sorry for the derail. Can't wait to hear how you like it!!
 
I've been playing mine a couple cabs, but I can tell you it sounds HUGE through my Bogner OS 2x12's with Vintage 30's. The Friedman loves V30's. And a whole lot easier to haul. ;-)

You shouldn't have to run it through a 4x12 cab to make it sound good. A good amp will sound good through a good cab, regardless of the number of speakers in it.....

Just sayin'.
 
mine sounds good using a Port City 2×12os cab loaded with scumback's M75,H75...
 
I've got an older Splawn 4x12 with the smallblock speakers and also the 3rd Power 2x12 you see above with a V30 and a Creamback H75.

My Quickrod definitely sounds its best with its matching cab but I liked the Friedman best through the 2x12 actually.

I'd like to get an empty 1x12 and another 2x12 at some point for some other speakers I've got - Scumback J75s and a Scumback H75. I'm considering a quad of M75s for the Splawn 4x12 at some point just because I keep hearing how amazing that combo is with the Friedman and Metro heads.
