Thanks for checking out the vid everyone!
I can sing and play some stuff. I do backing vocals on "hear about it later", "outta love again", "dancing in the street", etc. The first time he caught me by surprise w/ the mic
...the second time I was too focused on hitting those harmonics ...my singer isn't a DLR clone but he LOVES VH (almost as much as me lol) and he knows all the outro stuff that Dave does...and he goes out and works the room and tries to get people involved. The old guy sounded MORE like DLR but didn't know any of the phrasing...I had to tell him how to phrase songs...what to sing on outros 
At the end of the song I was just looking at the setlist to see what was up next...I keep it on top of my amp. lol
