He has quite a bit of gain at times here and he's got some pretty fast chops at times...as much gain as old Van Halen.
I read that he only used a volume pedal and a Rat distortion pedal (and his talk box)....not sure of the wattage on the Marshall, but they say he was stupid loud on stage. Some musicians he used to play with complained that he was way too loud.
