Something not right with my head.
At 3am 1/2 asleep the name pops into my head. I spend a good 1/2 hour trying to figure out how I can rearrange his name, that is 1/2 of the last name and 1/2 of the first name and come up with a solution

Slobodan Milošević

This is the best I could do as I didn't know how to properly spell his name.

Milodan Sloevedick

Whadaya got?

Yeah that sux..
I hate laying in bed but not sleeping ..
Last few times it happened I started hearing actual patterns in my white noise generator that I run at night. Not patterns in the noise itself, but what I suspect are points in the loop where it starts/stops. You cannot hear them when you first turn it on, I’ve tried it more than once. I have only been able to recognize them while asleep and then wake up to analyze WTF is actually going on…
Your mind will automatically start timing the noise until you get a time sig attached and then you will count it off just so you can know you actually pulled it off.
It will drive you mad until you turn it off
😂😂

I run a fan as I have a strong C# going in my head 24/7 and I also have a mattress with a built in heater and a built in air cool system. I usually turn on the heater 1 hr before bed, then turn on the cooling which makes noise as well. The fan, sometimes the humming fluctuates and it turns into a techno song.

probably not, but a nice fat bowl and wild turkey 101 goes a long way to put me out
either that or wake her up and have her rub one out for you

My wife and I tried the sleep app stuff with the ocean waves, streams, rain, etc and like @JTyson was saying - once you hear the loop start/stop you can't unhear it. Our general nighttime routine is: oscillating fan, Seinfeld and sometimes melatonin or gummies.
