Why would i shit myself ? that's not sounding like it at all moreover many owners of kruse amp seem to be disappointed by what they got in comparison with the sound samples. just check online reviews of it...

i still prefer my own versions (there is no polish no eq only delay and reverb the amp really sounds like that out of the box) :

i'm using some mods josé used in atypical amps and that you won't find the schematics online...

that's a modded plexi.

Thank you, posts like this are what makes this place great.

Wasn't Ed's main amp growing up a Bandmaster combo? I think there's a photo of him with it in one of the guitar mags around the OU812 era where he also has a Teisco Del Ray. And I've read rumors that he used Ronnie Montrose's Bandmaster on the first album, and Ted Templeman would have had access to that at the time. Flame away.

the humbucker used is a 78 model with 20w greenbacks and 30w 55hz greenbacks which were the original speakers used. The myth of the jbl d120f has been debunked by kurt james and mark cameron. Moreover the flagsystems cabs that ed used for his first tours used 30w blackbacks 55hz with g12h20 blackbacks 75hz...

Pretty good bro

Yup. He said it was a Bandmaster he practiced/wrote on initially.

Based on that thread sounds like I don't want to be Krusified.
I've dealt with him several times and always had good experiences. His mods might not always be to everyone's taste, but the customer service and quality of work were always exceptional.

I bet he is a good modder and a good amp builder, but a lot of guys in the industry when advertising amps they are heavily eq or just don't sound like in the clips out of the box because they have an ultra complex signal chains. lots of brands do this sugar on top of the cake. When you play the amp at home you don't get the icing. just don't base what you will get to be the same you hear from a video.
