Do you guys follow Splawn Amplification on FB?

Yes , I`ve seen some of those current videos and I dig them . Mostly positive talk about Splawn amps here , for the most part lol

I don't follow them on social media, but every splawn i've played has been it's own thing, and that might be the biggest compliment you can give an amp maker.

He changes and updates stuff all the time, and I respect it, even if his amps aren't always my thing.

I follow a lot of guys on FB to keep up dated on new amps and gear. Lately Scott has been posting some videos of him playing their new guitars and playing through a Quickrod. Some of the tones he's getting make me really want a Splawn amp! Check this one out! It's one amp I've never played before.

I follow them too and yes, I fricken drool every time he posts a guitar. Below is one of my favorites - if money were no object.

Scott is a class act too and to his credit, he stays off of social media. I'm sure that philosophy has served him well.

Interesting approach putting quilted maple on top of that Explorer. You don't see stuff like that too often.

Scott has always been very cool with me. I love my Quickrod...

Always get compliments on the tone when I play it out...
+1 , I’ve called and talked to him directly quite a few times and he’s always been very helpful

another plus 1. Scott is always cool to talk with and very responsive to questions. Love my QR as well

It's a double edged sword for sure. You can order any amp with any options that are on other amp models. I borrowed a Super Comp from a buddy that had a ton of weird things that aren't normally on it. Tried selling it here for him and everyone kept chiming in how it's not "this" or "that", but I had receipts. The dude will literally do anything you want, but it seems no two Splawns are alike.

the finishes on some of the guitars are just plain SICK ... I'm unfortunately not a Floyd Rose kind of guy ... or I'd already have one

I had a Supercomp running 6550's .... awesome amp !

hmm, just saw their newest models have an Old/New Switch and Mid Cut Switch ?

I've been following Splawn on Facebook for years, and before that, I've watched Scott's clips on YouTube.

Yes, his playing through his amp is why a QuickRod was one of my dream amps years ago lol
