Sounds like an ADA. Bottom end sounds flubby and synthetic.

Sounded pretty good to me. I'm not getting an ADA vibe off of it at all.

I think those are some pretty ripping tones. Wonder what people are using for poweramps these days

This! I like his playing fur sure. I still think Mark Day has the best Axefx tones going. Hands down

Agreed.

Since were all going to play the one-upper game I'll just add this.

Easily the best Axe Fx tones.

Almost as good as these:

I see an 8 string with a Lundgren in your future, dude...

The one thing I've always ragged on the Axe FX for was its apparent lack in touch sensitivity and guitar volume effect, as not a single FX player I've witnessed would ever bother to showcase it. As if it wasn't an integral dynamic in guitar playing. Just balls to the wall all the time. That's all I thought these were made for. Why else would nobody even bother taking a crack at it?

Until now. And I'm sold.

Same guy, different vid. This jam is crazy cool. Tones are OK.

Dude there's tons of videos like this all over the FAS forum. It actually does clean up really well with the volume knob....and it's pretty touch sensitive as well. It's got a pretty nice feel....it's not an amp like that but it's close.

Anyone anywhere close to SLC is more than welcome to hit me up to try this thing out if they want to.

Great video, I've had a couple Axe and I wish now I would never sold them. I used a VHT 2/50/2 and it was so great but money got me. They are so great and they are touch sensitive they are better and you can control anything!!!!!!

Well the prices on the regular Axe-2 have fallen. A few sold for around $1500 since the XL came out. And once the next Axe unit comes out expect a little more better used prices.
