R Racerxrated Well-known member Mar 23, 2016 #2 I used a 20 dollar Danelectro fish n chips in front of my SLOs. Worked great, more transparent and less noisy than MXR or Boss IMO.

LanierP Active member Mar 23, 2016 #4 I use the MXR 10 band in the loop on mine and after that, I had to have it there all the time. Thought it sounded fine this way.

Mailman1971 Moderator Mar 23, 2016 #5 Yeah pretty much any decent EQ will fit the bill. The one I use in my loop is the MXR 10 band. Before that it was the Boss GE7 Both sound great.
