Soldano SLO-30 Incoming - video added

Just got done playing all 3 amps.
I definitely prefer the sound of the Soldanos.
I am going to take my Friedman JEL-20 with me to my other house and compare it to my Friedman Little Sister.
I expect at least one of them to be for sale around the New Year.
I think I prefer the tone of the Little Sister, but the JEL-20 being a two channel amp might be the one I keep.

Definitely going to keep the JEL-20 over the Little Sister, both have great tones, but I prefer a 2 channel amp for flexibility.

I saw it only weighs 43lbs.
Are the Neo Creamback speakers the same as regular Creambacks?

Their efficiency is very poor - roughly equivalent to halving the power of your amp compared to say a V30.

That's the first one of these videos that made me at least slightly excited about the amp.

Mind you I like SLOs and close relatives - just didn't hear much in either Soldano offering.

The Little Sister is a great amp and takes overdrive pedals so well.
If it were a two channel amp it would be truly amazing, but the JEL-20 is great also and has a ton of gain.
The Soldano SLO-30 is just the best.
The Astro 20 is great, but not as inspiring to play as the SLO-30.

A forum member bought my Friedman Little Sister Head and Friedman 1x12 cabinet.
That will be one happy guitar player.

That is the amp without any pedals.
People don't think the Little Sister has a lot of gain, they would be mistaken.
