I only use those years as a footnote, as I consider those years as the pinnacle of hip hop. Honestly though, I consider this track to be a mainstream hit, and a great track at the same time. Although my favorite album is Nas-Illmatic, I find this song to have a great flow and of course, the cameo by the late veteran great Biggie Smalls.

I would encourage everyone to add their favorite hip hop tracks as well!!!

Wow "fuzzboat" that is quite an angry response! I mean really, a flaming middle finger! And then the " F off troll". What makes you think I am trolling? Do you realize there are people on this board that have engineered and produced award winning albums, such as Illmatic, which I mentioned before?

I'm sorry you felt so offended by my post, but I just do not feel as though personal attacks are warranted here.

So anyway...with that said..continue on.

Killer track, and believe it or not, mixed down on a Tascam 4 track!! Wu Tang just has the grimey production that sounds so good.

dead prez's album let's get free from 2000, is a killer album

a certain dude called kanye west produced that track way back when

This is my favourite.

I like its beat, I like the groove & flow. Good rhyming. Its catchy. You can even bang your head to it while playing the bass line on your guitar.
And I love the humour!

From 1992.

Hey am I on the wrong forum... I thought this was for metal heads

Just kidding , but I don't have any good hip hop tracks to add
