Taking any trades on that? I like the way it looks and seems pretty accurate.

I had a Peterson Strobo Stomp that was fine and still works. It does have a couple of extra features but I wanted tuning accuracy and speed. The turbo does both better and I now have the regular and mini. They are made in the USA while my Peterson is made in China.

I also have the Peterson app for the phone (when I am somewhere without anything else) and it works well though a bit slower. I sent a request to Sonic Research about an App (similar to the Peterson) that worked as fast as their stomp boxes though I never got a response back from them.

Turbo Tuner mini vs Korg Pitchblack (mini or otherwise)?

There's also the Pitchblack Custom that has the newer color LED tron display thing.

I know the Turbo Tuner has more precision (+/- 0.02 cents). But other than that?

How is the Turbo Tuner (or any other digital tuner) a true strobe tuner? Don't strobe tuners work via an optical illusion with rotating disks? How does a digital LED display actually truly do that? It can't. I know it "fakes" the effect and all. But it feels like a gimmick when how the tuner actually works is no different than any other digital tuner. The only difference is how it displays what's in tune and what isn't. I have a Peterson Strobostomp and it kinda sucks. I don't like it, so I'm looking for a new tuner.

Honestly, I have one of those cheap Korg pocket tuners, the CA-1 or something like that and it works fine. Not for a pedal board, obviously.

I just picked this sweet model up:

I can't figure out how to plug it in though, think I need an adapter or something (it keeps falling out of the jack).
Now you're just forkin' around :D

I love the poly white pedal and clip on display for live. Peterson is good but display stresses me out because too accurate. Not tried the turbo

Every time i tune up with my poly tune clip on vs my turbo tuner i wonder why i still use the clip on.

Dang, really? I was looking to move to the Polytune Clip on and get rid of my Polytune pedal. I was trying to decide between the Korg Pitchblack Clip on and the Planetwaves clip on and the Polytune.

I just got the new Korg Pitchblack Custom and I like it more than any other tuner so far!!

I've had a turbo tuner for many years. It works flawless.
