I second the Andersons. The H2+, H3 and H3+ are all awesome for splitting.

i just heard back from Lace:

"Hello Ross, and thank you for your email. I think you are on the right track with the Dually pups. I suggest you look into a Gold/Blue Dually for the bridge. Nice power, not too over the top and it’s like a more detailed PAF. For the neck I suggest you look into the Emerald/Purple Dually….less heat than the Gold/Blue, and the Emerald is “Texas Special” like in tone. With an on/on/on mini toggle, the Duallys can be wired in Dually mode…1st coil/2nd coil and both coils (Humbucker). With you push pull pots, they can be wired in split coil mode. Here are the diagrams: http://www.lacemusic.com/pdf/9.pdf. Hit me back if you have any more questions."

ordered the pickups from Lace direct online for $59.99 each with free shipping. will report back once i get them installed.

I put the Jimmy Page job on a set of Bare Knuckle Black Dogs... I dig 'em...

Awesome. Check out the Pup Tent forum at fenderforum.com:

Lots of Lace nerds there comparing wiring setups, resistances, tones, etc.
