DUDE, those are played using AmpliTube. I don't think it's possible to get a really good tone with a $20 digital computer program.

Amplitube is only $20 now? Dang... I had the first version and hated it, although I have to say that I have heard some pretty decent clips from it over the years, but not from the first version.

I like the tone on the clean one. All that mouthing off for clips and what did that get you? Do you feel better? Did you suddenly gain knowledge about SGs? I don't have any recording gear, so you won't be getting clips unless you want to buy me some. I never said I was good, but I can certainly do something as good as yours. The bottom line is that clips have no bearing on opinion or knowledge. I don't need to post clips to gain the knowledge you seek. I already have it and would be happy to share some of it if you didn't act like such a fool.

I got the 1st version for $19.99. It's not great but it's easy to use & it comes in handy for 2AM recordings.

Gonna spring for an AxeFx 2 soon which should help, but nothing will ever beat the sound of tubes frying & air being pushed out of a speaker.

If you're interested in an Axe-Fx standard, which is still very cool and great for late night clips, I have one for sale. Here's some clips with it:

Thanks for the offer/info, but I definitely want a II. There are lots of used standards available here, but having tried the II, I'd rather splurge.

Cool clips though!!!
