My 1972 Marshall modded into a Cameron Aldrich. The amp is crazy versatile and the low input makes it have a very useable clean tone. It also has a metro effects loop, so you can easily add effects. Just to point out, it all tube (only 3 preamp tubes, no need to add another), no zeners in this amp.

I made this clip showing that it can do both 80’s and modern metal with ease. Just amp, guitar and cabinet. It doesn’t even need a noise gate.

Just commented on YouTube on ur juicy tone!

Of the 70+ amps I’ve had and many others I’ve tried, I’d say the Cameron modded Marshall’s for sure, but I still gotta try a Peters Body Hammer, Homestead, Schroeder Formula, Diezel Big Max and Trainwreck

If the question was single channel clean or low gain amp, it would for me either my 1964 Fender Vibroverb or Todd Sharp JOAT 45, but I still gotta try a Schroeder Dozer for cleans

It's funny but I never hear the Larry being mentioned, any good reason why?

Larry makes awesome stuff and I’ve had the luck to play a Dino....but due to price, most people don’t own a Larry product.

I'd put my Friedman KS modded '80 JMP up against anything.
Lots of VHT Deliverance love up in here. I've never tried one. May have to...

No master volume, so it's really high distortion because the tone comes from power tube breakup. They're like 35 watts from 2-EL34's.

Glen uses Greenbacks. They sound bigger and more modern with well broken in Vintage 30's

That is the tone of God... :worship: :worship: :worship:

That was righteous Dave. I haven’t had the pleasure of the real one, but their Kemper profiles booted almost everything else out of my recording folder. Best profiles I’ve ever played.

Deliverance 120
Makoplex

If modded Marshalls are acceptable, the Gutierrez Satanic Hispanic for sure

I dont own one but after watching this video Im considering looking into it.

Because he doesn’t make single channel high gain amps.

They really are pretty great, but they're not that practical. No master volume.. No other amp I've owned reveals the character of tube changes like on this amp. It's a simple circuit in that there's only 3 gain stages with a plate driven tonestack and a phase inverter. You really tune the amp to how you want it to sound with tubes and speakers, and that's a journey in itself that might turn most people off if it's not right in the first place.

I built one in January 2012.. Ceriatone makes one. There's a few cloners you could probably find, but otherwise you have to build your own. Originals are going for 40K last I knew..

Yeah Deliverance 120, Soldano Avenger 100 and Henning Bottle Rocket. I agree I preferred the Soldano with a boost though.

I'll also throw in Laney Gh100L, which I've only ever used as a 1 channel amp, great amp!
