Looking for a used guitar with the following:

Set neck or Neck-thru
Tonepros bridge
Locking tuners
SD/Similar passives.

Like the ESP Eclipses, but only full thickness! A Skolnick model would be nice, but used are hard to come by!
Maybe an MH neck-thru?
Schecter Solo II Custom?
Deans??

Others? If I considered a Floyd, Charvel would probably lead the pack. Even pondered an EVH hardtail. But, bolt-ons are on the bottom of my list.

Anybody selling anything meeting these specs??

I DONT like EMG's!!

IF you never had a Charvel Pro-Mod, just grab one of those.

Schecter C1 models can be had all day long under $500 with passives too.

I've had a Pro Mod San Dimas Hardtail. Loved it! Just looking for something a little meatier sounding.

USA Peavey Wolfgang special, who needs set necks. But you can find Edwards LP and some older ebony board LP studios

Jackson Mark Morton?

USA Dean's come up in this price range every now an again, as do Carvin's, so keep, a lookout.

Edwards LP. I've had four and a V and every one of them were great guitars. Unbeatable for the cash. All four LP's were Standards. I've heard that the quality is even better yet on the Customs. I've played my cousins Sykes Custom and it's a fucking killer. No joke....

Greco les paul, especially the 82 to early 90s models. Jspanese made, amazing wood quality...set necks of course... I had one and I had to sell it because it was too heavy for me... It was an 87 mint collection. Even the stock pickups were awesome.

If I found a Sykes for $600, I'd be all over it.

There’s just too many components to co side before honestly answering?

What kind of music do you play?
What amp do you have?
Pedalboard?
Gigging or in basement?
What are you gonna use it for?

I tell you what I’d do (but it’s just me). I play rock and roll and have an old fender amp. What I’ve done in the past is get a $200 (or less) used Squier of some sort (I’m obsessed with tele’s myself), tear it apart, get some real good PUPS, hardware, pro setup and maybe a little neck work, and you’re gonna have an instrument that’s plays better and sounds better than the $1,700 American pro series. I did just this with one of those RI lefty 70’s Jazz Basses. Changed pick guard and even sanded off the headstock where it says Squier and stained it a wonderful cherry natural wood with nitro over it and I’m here to tell you, it’s beautiful. Sounds and feels better than anything they have at GC right now, and believe me I know. I’m there literally enough to where I now get family discounts. This can all be done for around that price, if you do it right. Get saddles, nut, PUP’s, even a new pickguard to spruce it up. You could probably get away with doing it for $500 if you have someone you know who can do fret dressing for cheap.

Then if you’re looking for something right off the shelf, stock (which I wouldn’t) I reall dig the Epiphone Traditional Pro series. Smooth unfinished necks. New for around 5-600$ but can be had for 300-350 used at GC or even better at Reverb.com.

I’m a frugal person so I’ve had to get creative on how to get high quality gear for cheap. For $600, I could get darn near anything I wanted, provided I do most the leg work.

That just scratches the surface of possibilities. That’s just 2 guitar brands. You could go fill vintage and restore for a unique look and sound, such as Silvertone, Danelectro, etc.... I don’t vouch for them, just think they look cool.

I have a few Edwards LPs and I have the Sykes model too. I agree with you that they make a great guitar.

I got the last two Gibson studio lites I had for around 600. Killer guitars. Full size studios, ebony boards, slim necks, and light as shit.

If you can get past the TOM, man, the Schecter KM6 can be had used in that range and they are killer for the money.

I would say a pro mod or Edwards, but that's already been said. I just wanted to say it too haha :D

I love that guitar. It's actually on the list!

PRS SE's are SUPER solid for guitars in that price range...or less!
