Better question where is mike n where is my amp?

Mike called me thank god. Everything is ok. His job which he can't fully discuss took him away longer than expected. But he reassured me all is welll with Dar amplification !
Ahhhh I can't breath now so can u all. He apologizes for the inconvience. He will be getting a hold of the other guys waiting too.

No I never got my amp n cab just empty promise to ship. I am fucking sick of this couldn't even use it in studio couldn't wait any longer. 4000$ tied up. Now what. ???????
 
empty promise after empty promise. i start recording this month and i have to use my old amp, which is a PATHETIC engl. woe is me, i know, lol. but still. also, since i paid in full like an idiot, i now wont have to money to get the album mixed unless i sell my engl. which i will have to do, and just hope everything turns out.

one of the times, to keep me on board mike told me he would give me a discount, which i would receive immediately, i never got it. i told him i needed a refund, he told me flat out that he wouldnt give it to me. now he wont talk to me, or anyone else for that matter.

i tried talking to the better business bureau, i dont think they can help me since i paid just over a year ago. the police station wasnt much help. i dont know what to do

I've been keeping an eye on all DAR venues for quite some time. Mike just posted yesterday to their facebook group

No, how were we suppose to know since you wont contact any of us. It is getting pretty repetitive, after weeks/months of silence he strolls back in to say how the last few (measurement of time) he's been busy on a non DAR project, traveling, broken bones..

I'm not one to knock anyone's health issues, but he could have at least posted when his accident happened that he'll be struggling to respond to everyone in a timely fashion and there would be more delay. At least I'm lucky I only dropped a deposit on the PX
 
I'm really sorry to see this happening, not only for those of you who've been directly affected, but also because I was hoping to get one myself at some point. Unfortunately, unless there's a radical change (like someone buys DAR out), I'm afraid I'll never see one, let alone get one. I truly hope everyone eventually gets whatever is owed . . .
 
looks like i can file a civil suit by my self and its like $100 or something, still a lot but doable. there is just the question of whether i would have to physically be there since i live in MN. i will need to do some research but i shall find a way :)
 
so i called the minnesota attorney general office and they actually had a person answer the phone. they told me that i could file a complaint with dar in my state, which would be much easier than small claims court i would think.
