BFG modded JCA22H

Brian recently modded my 22H to his Sunset Strip/Demon specs, and it sounds absolutely phenomenal. I've had it a couple weeks now, and I have played it every day since then...first amp I've done this with in my 30+ years of playing. I used to own two 22H's in stock form (this one and another one), as well as a Friedman-20H and two 100H's (one tweaked by Soldano). This little amp that Brian did is the best JC I've owned. In fact, it is right up there with the 101's and SLO's that I've owned in the past in terms of sound quality and guitar interaction. Warm, chewy, articulate, dynamic...just awesome. For a total investment of way below $1k (amp + mod), if you don't send your 22H to BFG, you'll be doing yourself a dis-service.

I myself and a few other guy's here have said Brian is the best out there!!!!!!! If you dont like what you hear from his mods he WILL fix them!! Hard to find a guy that listens and makes good on a task. There is no one better!! :rock: :thumbsup: :rock:
 
I have a BFG modded JCA 22H and it's awesome. I like it MUCH better than the 101B I had. And the cleans are excellent.

The newest one I'm doing is a nod to the 80's tones I like the most. Hot Rodded Jose Marshall on one channel and second channel that is a bit thicker and even more nasty with no diode clipping and then upgraded caps throughout and a new USA made OT and new EL84 tubes. Pretty tough to beat combination with the loop and depth control.

Congrats man I love my BFG double duce JCA 22H as well. The peavey XXX brian modded for me just kills a metal beast for sure. BRIAN AND BFG FOR LIFE HERE MAN. Fixen to send a dual rec to him next.
