And when it goes off in 3 days time, you casually stop what you are doing, get up and enter a secret room of some sort, maybe behind a false bookshelf, put on a long dark robe, turn off the lights and light some candles, sit down at your desk, silence the alarm and get to business

I removed your duplicate post Donnie. 
I have a folder into which I add the "suspicious members" folders.
Within them I place links to my warnings. I simply date those links and mark the relevant user folders green so I know to keep an eye on them.
I usually give them an extra day or two.
Your imagined scenario's a lot more exciting (and funny) 'though.
