If you don't happen to know of this band or guitarist, I encourage you to give this song a spin. While it starts off as a very radio-friendly tune, the ending solo is just jaw dropping goodness.

Ian, if you are reading, thank you for the inspiration Sir.

Been into these guys for years, amazing band out of Canada. Love the record ghosts. There’s lead work Ian does on that record where he somehow mixes SRV with David gilmourish types of vibe. Amazing stuff.

About 5 years ago I kept hearing about this band, and couldn’t get into them.

Then on a flight to India I had Spotify on shuffle, a woke up in a delirious state to the opening track for Ghosts. That drudgy Big Muff slow bend downtuned intro, then breaking into that bright Cornell-esque verse. A masterpiece. Love that whole record, and then got into all the other stuff, but Ghosts is TOP for me. Wish they released it on vinyl.
