Very nice! I would have absolutely no problem recording a metal album with that tone!!!
 
Back when I had mine, I found the sweet spot in the volume was between 12 and 1:00. That should take care of the fartiness. That was pretty loud, considering it's a 1W amp. Louder than a TV, for sure. Obviously not nearly in the same league as a "real" amp, though.
 
sounds great, what song are you playing at first or are you just riffing?
 
Man, that SDOTD on the KM was tempting! I saw it last week.
 
I think it sounded best right around the 1:25 mark just before your turned the dial. For a few seconds there it had a darker/bassier/smoother tone that was easy on the ears.

It's a graphtech TUSQ XL so doubtful. I think I just need to intonate it properly, as I didn't change the intonation after filing the nut height down.

Agreed! It didn't sound good in the room there so I switched it, but that setting definitely recorded the best!

Ahh, so it’s not that it’s not staying in tune. It’s that is staying out of tune. ;D
