Thanks man It will be used for progressive/extreme stuff exclusively. Getting it fitted with BKP Blackhawks, which seem ideal for the absolute note separation/tightness/cleanness I'm looking for.

You'll love it then. I had the nailbombs in mine and they sounded very tight and punchy. Punchy is probably the best way to describe a B6 in one word.

I know the original B2/B7/F8s were tested with Diezel, and you own a Diezel...sooooo it should sound amazing through your rig!

Sounds like the B6 guitars are outsourced to one of Doug's buddies & still available for order.

Correct, assembly is outsourced to Jon from Feline guitars (Doug's best mate) - there's currently a 2-year waiting time. From what I understand the quality is identical.
