Thank you for showing us your johnson. Having grab'n'go convenience in such a small package must come in very handy.
I still dream of having a big black peters one day instead of a little Johnson….

This fuckin amp rips…. Crazy how good this thing sounds. Running it through my mode 4 straight cab. Absolutely amazing. Best $100 I ever spent. If you get a chance grab one. It’s a stripped down version but less shit to go wrong imo. Total sleeper. Wow….. I’m fine with the black face model for cleans and the rectified setting for dirt. Damn….. love it….

One thing that sucks balls is when you change amp models the volume shoots up until it regulates itself.

This is fucking stupid. I can’t believe this. Does it out rec my rec? No…. But it is pretty damn close…. I foresee this being my majority amp

I remember the Johnson Millenium when I first started playing guitar and going to Guitar Center.

I chose the Line 6 Ax2 212 as my first "real" amp instead.

I have the J station - the equivalent of the old Line 6 kidney bean. Their Recto model and JC120 models were damn good! Line 6 was just way better at marketing & product development
Enjoy!

When I was going through my rack phase I wound up with the pod pro, bbe and mesa 20/20…. Two Mesa metal grill cabs. It fucking ripped. I used the recto and black face settings and this is pretty much the same deal. This has three sections of models with six models per section. Then modulation/delay/reverb sections for effects…. Pretty cool

I Remember having the 212 combo version of this many years back when it first came out. I really liked it. The SLO tones on it were great!

I remember being blown away by the Millenium when it came out. Fun amp.

I also remember seeing Kansas at the Memphis Music Fest one year and the guitar player was playing a PRS Dragon, full dragon fretboard inlay and everything, into one of these amps. Bizarre combination of gear, lol.

One of my local stores had this one and the Millenium 2x12 combo. I always thought they sounded really good. At the lower volumes allowed in their amp room, these actually sounded better than the Soldano Atomic 16 they had. They were also around the same price. I ended up buying the J-station for my dorm room based on how much I liked the amps. It was good, but the amps were better. The J-station is still floating around my gear somewhere.

I have the J station too. Super underrated piece of equipment. With some reverb and delay into an FX loop return to cab it def passes the smell test
