After hearing Mark A ( Rockstah's) clips, which are always inspiring and full of energy/passion, i dug up an ol' jam of us going nuts on a backing progression Mark crafted up..Mark is so deadly on this, it made my head spin when i first heard it! check it out! Mark starts the soloing, then i come in and so on....

we need more of this collaboration on rig talk! Ed D was good sponsor for it.

Well Done!!! Inspiring players-- both of you!

you really hear the malmsteen in there as well as lynch. i'm surprised noone mentioned it. nice job guys !

Since Pat started it I will take the flame and continue.................

RT should make a disk with it's best showcasing what RT is about.......................flat out enjoying ourselves and having a good time with what we all love. There should not be any broken hearts or butt hurt about it, we are all grown men and know who should be on that cd. Has nothing to do with popularity but showcases what RT is all about.

i'd nominate ant, curt, mark K, mark A, gainy, john perry, mark day, dstroud, bstaley, randy van sykes, andy wood, pete thorn

jeez that right there would be one heck of a compilation disc!

one great song each...no shrapnel brain dead drum machine loop to solo over crap...a real honest to goodness SONG.

Wow, nice shredfest guys
Ant, I knew you could bring the f'n fury, but never knew Mark could play like that, the guys awesome!
I only heard his VH clips which showcased his mods (nothing wrong with that, he has those nailed down too)
I agree with the RT song idea, that would be cool

Why can't the rest of us play? RG should be divided among all the members with a certain amount of posts and we are put into groups of 5 to jam over a track... lol, ok impossible to organize but anyway...

Rockstah def. has the Yngwie tone in that clip. The only tone better than that, was Malmsteen's tone on the very first album. That still rips.

Amazing Conversation between two guitars. When are you two going to produce an album together?

SHIT ANTHONY! long time since i heard this! burning dude! that was a lot of fun! cool to revisit it. :)

Mark, you're killing me dude. that's an appropriate title for that piece! ridiculous man. I'll hit you up in a couple weeks with a recorded progression we can go nuts on again. In the process of learning Pro Tools and a whole new recording platform, so not much playing guitar for me lately. Here's my reverbnation site with a bunch of demos and what not. : ) ttly

I have always loved your playing Anthony, but I had no idea Mark ripped like that. I only ever hear Mark playing VH style riffs... This stuff is a million times better IMO. I love the "rip" in Marks tone as well. There is something in both of your tones that I would love to have....a certain EQ that is perfect. Thanks for posting  ..now I need to go practice

yeah, i love it all, not just EVH.;)
Thanks!

Mark
