After 5 years since it was announced, Thomas Blug said he finalized the hardware design, and the design has been sent to the manufacturer to start production.

I watched another interview with Thomas from Guitar Summit 2025, and he said this is the seventh revision, and he is finally satisfied with the design, and getting it right to meet his expectations. While it's said, "perfection is the enemy of good" - Voltaire I'm looking forward to the released product...even though I'm no longer interested in it...though I could change my mind again once it's released.

I feel the same. Owning an Iridium myself, I had the biggest hard on for AmpX for the first 2 years of its announcement. Then I faded fast. And now since inflation, It's even harder to see myself buying this thing, when all I really wanted was an Iridium with a few effects and a tuner so it would make it my all in one perfect dream solution. Originally listed for $1600 to now minimum $2000 (probably too ambitious), plus having to buy Blugprints down the road....I just can't justify it when my HXFX does exactly what I need already.

I have been following this for a few years myself. Even though I have never tried any Bluguitar product it intrigues me. Anyway, i will believe it when I actually see it on the market though as this has been dragging on for ages lol
