Bogner 2X12 8 or 16 matter?

Guy is selling one at 16 ohms and another at 8? does it matter? Going to use a XTC.

To run both these cabs, you will have 5.3 ohms equivalent and need to run the amp at 4 ohm output. Here, you can certainly hear some difference. Between 16 and 8, I cannot tell much difference, but haven't paid real close attention, as there may be some subtle differences. But, at 4 ohms, the amp immediately loses depth to me. Others may have a different opinion.

I heard and I have no clue if its true but I have heard that the XTC sounds best at 8ohms.

If you buy one just get the 16 ohms
