Loud enough to cut through with a band w/out being mic'd?

I can't see how that would be a problem at all. My JTM45 is 35 watts and is PLENTY for any situation. I've gigged a MK V 25 unmiced in a modern rock band. Granted- that was through a 4x12 but still.

Also, to DIRECTLY answer your question lol....here's the 3534 cutting through the mix just perfectly.

The 25 wasnt even a smaller version. Completely different circuit voiced like the 101b

I ordered one to try out. we will see how it copes or not with my 101b with the Cameron mod

Prashant’s prototype here is actually 45w. It’ll likely be similar but I’m holding out for a clip of the actual amp that’s going to be made available to the public.

Sounds amazing. Very different from my 100b, but really cool voicing!

There is some varying info on the actual wattage. The spec sheet for the production amps says 45 watts, despite the amp being called a 3534, the 35 being for 35 watts and the 34 being for EL34s. I don't really know. I remember Joe at Bogner telling me it's actually closer to 40 watts than 35, so I'd go with that.

Did a quick demo last night of a few different tones:

And here's my intial teaser clip from when I first got it:

Just FYI, I've had mine since Friday. A ton of fun. Plenty of cut and bite unlike some other Bogners I've had. Slice through a mix no problem. Lots of tone options for dialing in what you want to hear. They did a great job on this amp from clean to mean. It' like a modernized XTC. Not dark, overly round, super loose...none of that. Very "alive" and in your face, super dynamic. Could rock just the Blue Channel and guitar volume and be fine.

Sounds really good. Volumes for Ch2 and 3 look pretty high. Was this cranking pretty loud in the room?

That blue channel with the boost on delivers the goods! Anybody know what type of boost is used in the Bogner? I assume it is the same for both blue/red channels.. is it essentially just a clean boost? It's juicy but tight.

EDIT: I just read that no boost was used on those clips. Damn that's a beast of an amp!

Sounds chewy like the big amp. Now do I get the Bogner or the JJ Jr?
