Bogner Fish and one hell of a player here.

Like me some Bogner. Doubt I'll ever own a fish. Got a 104BV that does stuff in the vicinity of all those tones though.

I wish amp demos were a little dryer sometimes. Echo sounds good, but it's not an echo demo

Reinhold really should redo and release an updated Fish II with some updates like Soldano did with the X88 IR as I'm sure they would sell many if they did as the original had some quirks like the prehistoric channel switching and add a great effects loop and IR's etc.

Wishful thinking , but who knows?

so far, so good, still watching.

does he mention power amp, cab, IRs etc.?

I have a Bogner Helios Eclipse which I enjoy very much.

edit:

W/D/W set-up

Boogie 2:Ninety power amp
Boss SDE-3000
Ensoniq DP/4

He doesn't mention speakers / cabs

If priced in the same range as the X88IR with MIDI and the digital stuff was 100% bypassable, my credit card would leave scorch marks on my wallet.

Good tones, good player but wouldn't let him near my kid
Not sure what you mean by that?

Funny I thought he kinda looked a bit like Mike Mangini myself.

Pretty nice tones and playing but I can't figure out why he wore postal worker pants in a guitar vid. He was squeezing his legs together like a lady that needs to hit the restroom. Not sure what that was about either.

I think he was feeling the music and was in the zone. Bummer you focused on something as strange as that as I personally was too busy watching his fingers on the fretboard to notice that , but that's just me I guess...

I think you were more easily impressed than I am by it so my mind wandered to those post office pants, the leg squeeze, and the strat that looks like he stores it in a rural west arkansas gas station bathroom behind the toilet.

He's German.

It must be a German thing.

Maybe Larry would know? :dunno:
