Bogner Helios Video from the LA Amp show

Nothing earthshattering in this clip!!! Sounds like a slighty more aggressive version of the 101B blue channel. Need better clips!!!

Not sure I agree the 101b blue channel sounds massive and has that mid sag thing going on, both seem lacking in these clips. These clips sound a little sterile imo.... but then again it might just be a bad recording guess time will tell. Guitar and pickups can also make a big difference.

I'd like to see some clips with a les paul cranked way up to see what she can do. Or better yet I'd rather see a petition for bogner to start a production run of that old modded jcm800 he was famous for.

Any idea what that cab was loaded with? Or what Reinhold is recommending as far as what speakers, FL/RL are suggested for this amp?

Sometimes you can get a better sense of what the amp is tuned like by knowing what speakers it's supposed to be paired with

Safari doesn't show up the video's. When I use Google Chrome it works with IOS 7 on my phone.

Using what browser? As someone else mentioned, Chrome works but Safari doesn't.

Kidding aside, I think it sounds pretty good. Sounds nothing like an XTC to me but more like a modded Marshall.

Sounds a little like my 100B but without the sag. Sounds nasely, could be the guitar or just the poor audio quality.

Yea, that's sorta the vibe I'm getting. 100B blue channel with a tighter low end and no wool, more higher mid range focus and more gain.

Midrange Armageddon! Lacking bottom due to the recording source, but I think it sounds great! I wonder if the 100 watt chassis will fit into a 50 watt head-box?

And this is why I am impressed with Bogner's marketing. Good move to unveil a big head and generate some hype toward the brand. I found myself listening to some Bogner clips. Even if this amp is not on the street soon it did it's job. Sounds like a Germino HR100 to me except I think the Germino has some sag.
