Bogner OS 2X12 closed back or panels?

I saw one closed back but I heard the paneled back version is better for smaller places. More open sound not so directional? I play bars and smaller clubs.

Hands down, dual panels.....way bigger sounding and still lots of punch! Last rehearsal I used my PWE into it with V30s and two back panels. I think the opening is like 4", so you still get lots of tight punch, but man oh man the narrow opening fills the room! We were playing some Metalllica and it was crushing and huge.

I also have the closed back panel with batting, I keep in the closet if I am in the mood.
