Been thinking guys I have a lot of redundancy in this tonal area. I have the SL2(maybe soon to be SL2X), modded Randall Plexi with dual gain switch(Awesome!), modded Randal UltraXL(Very, very EG-5 - nice usable gain and an EG3/4. So, I have a lot in the Bogner type family. I thought of grabbing a Randal XTC and modding it or doing the Jeff mod adding upper mids and tightening the bottom. Know what I mean. I already have a lot of that going on with other modules.

Jaded Faith who is a friend of mine over on the MTS board does a modded Xl that just kills. He can tweak it to your desire. Trust me, we sat in his shop while he did it. Sounds similar to an EG5 to me but I personally like it better. I prefer it.

Sounds like you guys are talking about the red channel on the Shiva, but which module gets closest to its clean channel? I loved the Shiva's cleans.
