Is that your amp?
Yes.Is that your amp?
So how do you like it compared to your Rev 2?Yes.
I haven’t gotten a chance to crank it yet (newborn baby puts a crimp in my playing time). From what I’ve seen so far, it’s voiced with a lot more mids than the Rev 2, which is generally more scooped and darker. Putting both in a mix would sound amazing. So how do you like it compared to your Rev 2?
Hence the Noise. What's your perception?

These large caps should be glued on to with some RTV glue....Thanks for posting this. I'm a little disappointed to see those two big caps still mounted on the terminals and held in place with zip ties, but at least this time they are not side by side held by the same ties. On yours, they are black and located towards the bottom by the heat sink, and a little smaller than old Uber's. I guess I see less big filter caps in general on the Ultra?
Maybe I'm just unlucky, but I have owned two Ubers (one a Twin Jet) and BOTH had broken filter caps, the zip ties snapped and those big filter cap cans just pull themselves loose easily because all that's holding it in at that point is the solder joint.
Here's the picture of my Rev Blue, the Twin Jet had the same damage (and more, due to shipping). I repaired it with the traditional method - glue. Red arrows show the broken leads and zip ties (I have a little blurb about this on my site for the repair).

I think some of this stuff speaks way more about these shipping companies than bogner. Saw a UPS guy throw my amp out of the truck onto the blacktop and got into it a bit with him one time. Guys give no fucks lol.Believe it or not, one of the bolts holding the transformer in place actually sheared off in shipping. Whatever shock did that must’ve been pretty impressive. Even more impressive is that nothing else was broken. I managed to find a similar bolt at Home Depot and replaced it yesterday.
