Bogner V30 with different code?

I stumbled onto a pair of V30's pulled from a Bogner cab. They are labeled T3904B - the standard celestion 16ohm code but with a B added on the end. The sticker dates put them being made in '09 & '10. With the date I would have expected these to have been manufactured in China, but the speaker labels along with the white stickers both say Ipswich England and there is no "50" on them.

Does anyone now anything about these? With addition of the B, presumably referencing Bogner, and being UK with those dates - did Bogner ever have any OEM V30s?

Interesting, have You any photos ? OEM Bogner theory seem real in 09/10 and England scenario. I have 08 V30 Bogner and speaker says 4309A China.

Its my understanding that any Celestion has to specifically state "Made in England" somewhere on it in order to verify that its been manufactured in England. This could be on a label, stamped on the frame, sticker, etc. Not just "Ipswich England". Beware though, some Celestions from the past 10-15 years have been U.K. manufactured with some parts originating from China ! Anyway, with V30s the older the better.

It's hard to beat a legit English made Celestion. Even the (seemingly eternally hated) T75's that are vented are fantastic speakers.

I don't have a single non English Celestion in my collection. I think the Chinese Celestions are garbage compared to the English ones. IMO YMMV, etc.

I have a pair of MIE Relic 30's that just say "Ipswitch, England". If the white sticker has straight corners, it's probably Chinese. If the sticker has round corners, it's probably MIE.

Here are the pics of one of the speakers.

It doesn't specifically have the phrase "Made in England" anywhere. It just has typical label you'd see on them before they changed it to what they have now. The white sticker has the round corners on it, though.

I ended up emailing Celestion and they responded back pretty quickly. They said since the T number was the same it would be a standard V30 and that he didn't think they'd ever done a custom speaker for Bogner. It seems then that it's standard v30 voicing. With production already in China, I'm guessing they had to at least have been a "special" order to get UK made V30's at that point.
