I've owned a few Bogner amps over the years, but I've never had a chance to try the XTC Classic or the 20th Anniversary XTC.

I'm looking to get some input from those who have some experience with these models. How different or similar are these amps?

Small post for such a huge question.

Man... All three are different animals. Four, if you include the option of EL34 for the 20thA.
101B - standard in "Gold Tone" from Bogner; the do all work horse of amps; Bogner's No.1 amp.
20thA EL34 - offers more tonal options than the 101B, I can get the 20th to sound like a 101B, but can't get the 101B to sound like a 20thA
20thA 6L6 - more modern sounding, and has the same additional tonal sculpting features above that of the stock 101B
Classic - a more open grinding amp; some have said "brash", some have said "biting". A little more simple of an amp, but it sounds very different.

Let "search" be your friend. This is a lot to answer in one post.

I've owned both and prefer the Classic.
To me it's less compressed and more open sounding.
