One thong tha I love about the Bones is that you can set all of the knobs at 12 o'clock and it sounds killer. Then just adjust to taste. It has a ton of clear gain that is very deceiving.
Lots of tone packed in it. And, responsive to its own EQ. One thing though is with the 4th gain stage kicked in and most of the stuff dimed on the top end, it feeds back like crazy, especially with the EMG actives. Not so bad with passives. May have to invest in a gate of some sort. Sustains for ages though! I left it over at the practice room Friday. Got to run over and get it and will get some pics.
As for clips, I am still busy trashing the shit out of my Digi 03 Rack and PT's. When I get through cussing at the pile of shit, I will reload the software one more time and do a few clips. Otherwise, it becomes a door stop. Need to set my rack up too with a splitter and see what it will A/B well with.
Sounds really nice cranked through the Bogner Uber Cab too. Here's a pic of the chassis though.
