I wonder if the Odessa attacks are in reply to the refinery attacks inside Russia.
Or this.
IDK, Russia will eventually take Kharkiv and Odesa oblasts before this is over; not sure how far northwest they will go to create a buffer zone.
what many seem to miss is that Russia just has to play a waiting game with a gradual griding down of Ukraine forces and resources which it must get from its allies. I think the US taxpayer donations are over $300B so far, probably higher. not sure how much the EU, UK and others have provided, all in I'm guessing closer to $500B....
then there are European GDP reductions, hitting farmers and manufacturing due to the lack of cheap energy which Russia is now selling to China at even greater discounts; this in turn allows China to manufacture goods at a much lower cost which they can use for higher profits or flooding global markets. Give the US recent discussions with China (Blinken and Yellen) where they're demanding China cutback on its manufacturing, I'd guess it's the latter, but likely both. US is also asking China not to sell US currency/bonds for gold, which China is also increasing.
Needless to say, China has said no to the US, to reducing its manufacturing, and no to reducing its trade with Russia...which means we'll likely see increased tariffs on Chinese goods (China has factories in Mexico, and is building more), and possibly sanctions.

If Trump doesn't get elected, the US economy is likely to continue to accelerate its self-destruction, benefiting Russia, China, Iran,...
