It's me again :)

I was curious about how the EVH sounds boosted. It's normally totally unnecessary... It's so compressed, that it has some Axe-FX "quality" going on, now. :D
Everything completely raw. Bass is played through the same setup :)
Speaker is a V30. Superior Drummer 2.0 Metal Foundry

Best Regards,
Simon

i tried boosting my 100 watt, that thing HATES pedals!! i used a Zakk Wylde overdrive and i tried a wampler pinnacle and could not get it to sound good UNLESS i used the green channel with the gain turned low..

That thing sounds evil as fuck...was that drop Z?

It works in this setup. Propably a bit over the top, but it works :D

Nice. I use a boost on the blue channel when the gain is set to just past noon. I have Botha tc electronic spark boost and xotic RC booster. For this application, I like the tc more. Truly awesome tone

I use the Xotic BB on the blue channel of the 50 watt. I role the gain on the 5153 back and then boost. I prefer the sizzle I get. It also helps channel one break up less with the shared eq.

That.
I use a Fulltone OCD, but exactly the same thing :2thumbsup:
