Bootleg guitars...what do you think ?

I don't see how he could possibly charge $699 for the guitar the OP posted, unless it's made of balsa wood...

Edit - that price must be a one off for something he can't get rid of. He has a guitar called the Generator HS Floyd that is pretty much the same, with an added single oil but unpainted he has listed at $2299, on special for $1499... All the guitars on the site are are $1600 hundred + normally, which is still pretty reasonable. Just not $699...

He is trying to fund a trip to NAMM so he built some budget model single humbucker guitars that he could move quickly. You normally cannot touch a Hill or Bootleg guitar for sub 1k. I spent an hour in his shop this morning and really dug the guitars I played. He has a copper superstrat for $899 that I was smittened with. I left without it only because I wanted to think it over bc I really want a generator floyd in woodgrain.

For $699 or $899 its hard to pass these up. I have half a notion to go back and buy them both.

What about this one ???

GC had a used one that I tried and the neck was awesome but the guitar just did not kick me in the tone department the way I wanted.

No I thing the Charvel Music Zoo is what I need......well at least a second one.
