Yikes and after all that public smack talk he was doing lately. Sucks to go out like that with that stuff being unresolved and still hanging in the air. I personally was never a fan of his or his former band but I know many others who were.

This was my first thought as well. He as very talented, no doubt, but he also seemed to really struggle with the bottle.
Edit: Wikipedia says the driver of the other vehicle failed to yield. Whoever was at fault, this is a tragedy. I’m not a big Mastodon fan, Carly respect them, but 51 is far too young. We are but shadows in dust.

Thanks Dave. For those that don't click links, evidently he was killed while on his Harley when a someone didn't yield correctly and hit him
