Ground zero and skeleton key are about it for me . I’d like to try them and suport good dudes
Yeah i know what you mean. I don't flip gear like I used to but I wish I would have got a few amps back in the day that were pricey and held on to them.A few amps that I can't justify the price (Dumble, Wizard, etc.) or vintage amps that I don't want to deal with parts/repairs.
Around $5K is the most I'd spend on an amp even though I could spend more, and the only amp I purchased even close to $5K is my Diezel VHX. To spend more than $5K on an amp, it would have to be something I think is amazing and worth it, to justify selling a few amps that it would have to replace.
For amps under $5K, I've already tried or purchased anything that interested me.
I have had slo and wizard and sold both. But i wouldnt put in same category at all. And all high gain amps definitely play differently. I could play any hogh gain amp. But only special ones stay very longOwned and sold all 3.
Great amps don't get me wrong.
A good high gain amp will get you in the general ballpark and may even be better depending on your tastes.
They're not some magical pixie dust that no other amp can get close too though.
I still sound like me playing through pretty much any amp.
Ultimately for me it comes down to what amp(s) inspire you to play most![]()
We’ll make this happen. You interested in playing a Rev blue or green uberschall?Never had a chance to play an SLO or any Diezel, Would also like to try an Uber.
